How to Galmorize Furniture with Faux Silver Décor Accents

Everyday at The Paint Pit, I am inspired by the most creative DIYers!
Most recently, Amy and I shared a creative moment discussing Savannah's Faux Granite Countertops.
A few days later, Amy showed up with her "twin" daughter (they really look alike) and shared photos of her own project.
Starting with a plain-faced chest of drawers, Amy used 220-grit sandpaper and primer to set up her base coat.
Her "Before and After" photos visually tell the rest of the story ... Amy used her creative talent to DIY a fabulous look.
The silver surround sets off the rope and fabric panel, and she added the crystal drawer pulls as a finishing touch.
Amy's color choice is a sign of the times ... metallic silver and gray are rapidly becoming the most used neutrals.
So when I ask, "Amy what you gonna do?" it's clear: You and your daughter will be doing something creative and beautiful!

While Amy was completing her masterpiece, Heather has been using chalk paint to spice up her breakfast nook.
