Welcome to our community Kaylaberry85!

Thank you for your question! I did a little bit of research regarding how to paint porcelain, and I came up with a craft paint that we sell on our website that will work well for you! Americana craft paints come in a variety of colors and sticks to glass, tiles, glazed ceramics and other non-porous surfaces and it leaves a gloss finish.

I would love to see your finished project! Please post pictures when you are done.

If you have any more questions, please let us know!

If you spray the lamp  with Zinsser spray shellac, virtually any paint will stick to it. Zinsser spray shellac is a de-waxed shellac which will stick to almost anything, including glass, mirrors, porcelain, tiles, etc. It is an incredibal bonding agent. It will stick to virtually anything, and virtually any of the common paint coatings will then stick to it.

Hope this helps
