I am removing grasscloth wallpaper that I put up years ago with wheat paste -removal liq. or gel?

Thank you for your question! In order for you to remove wallpaper that was adhered with wheat paste, you need to use an enzyme based remover, such as Zinsser DIF Wallpaper Stripper.  This one happens to be a gel, but there are some that are not gel as well. :)

 

The choice is yours on using gel or not. Gel allows for longer working time because it doesn't dry as quickly and, because it is a gel, it will not run down the wall.
