Hello milliniumbabe!

Your young ladies are gonna love it!

When my young lady had her pink room, we used alternating colors as the scheme.

Since you have two different colors in the same room, here are some ideas:

UPPER BUNK:

Headboard and sideboards purple with upright posts pink.

LOWER BUNK:

Headboard and sideboards pink with upright post purple.

ADJOINING ACCENT WALLS: Two adjoining walls pink and two adjoining walls purple ... alternating seems too busy.

TRIM: Bevels on top of trim purple with flat face of trim pink on pink wall. Bevels on top of trim pink with flat face of trim purple on purple wall.

SCRIPT NAMES AND MURIALS: At their age, seeing their names in giant script letters on their respective walls builds a strong self-identity. Using your craft skills to add images that may be relevant to each daughter will simply be fun!

After all is done, you'll likely change their rooms again when they approach their teens.

But I love the idea of giving them their own space ... a comfort zone that belongs to only them.

What a great idea!

Please come back and share photos when you're done.
