Innovation from Ridgid - The 5" Ridgid R3250 TwinBlade Saw

Greetings All!

Ridgid has raised the bar again with the addition of the R3250 TwinBlade Saw. As a professional remodeler for many years, this is a tool I could have used hundreds of times. This innovative tool features counter-rotating blades that not only reduce kick back, but can cut most building materials both backwards and forwards. It has a compact, ergonomic design that features a side handle for more control, but packs a punch with a 10 amp motor, spindle lock for easy blade changes, and a wax feeder for cutting of certain metals such as copper, aluminum and brass. It would have been quite useful for putting drop-in sinks on the many kitchen countertop installations I have done in the past.

The 5” blades have a cut depth of just over an inch at 1 1/32”, and can cut wood, steel, plastic, aluminum, galvanized iron, PVC, copper and a variety of other materials without changing the blades. Although compact, the R3250 is substantial with a weight of just over 7 pounds, and the textured grips allows for greater comfort.
