Hi Fynly1,

You can add insulation to existing walls without removing the drywall, by cutting holes in the exterior siding or stucco.

Blow either loose fill cellulose or spray foam into walls from the outside.

Cut a hole 1 1/2 to 2 inches in diameter at the top of the wall between each pair of studs.  Spray cellulose or foam into the cavity with a hose.

Replace the hole cut-outs, fill with wood filler on wood or stucco patch on stucco, and paint to restore the exterior

finish.

You can rent the equipment and purchase the cellulose insulation at your local Home Depot.
