Oasis,

Drylok dries to a flat finish, however, after applying the two neccessary coats for waterproofing, it may be topcoated with a glossier acrylic paint. DryLok must be applied to bare, clean, sound  concrete to get the proper waterproofing effect.Coverage is in the 75 to 100 sf per can range. The first coat must be back-brushed into the pores of the concrete.Subsequent coats may be merely rolled. DryLok does have a sanded texture. It is not suited for floor use.

Hope this has ansered your concerns.
