Hello JLuis and welcome to the Community.

Yes, if you go to your local Home Depot service desk you can get a duplicate receipt printed if you have the transaction information off of your receipt.  You can also get a copy if you have the credit card # you made the purchase with.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Hi JLuis,

You might want to know about the trade secret for managing Home Depot receipts. It's the Greenback app. If you sign up for a Home Depot Pro Xtra account (free, no need to be a pro) then you won't need reprints anymore. Greenback makes it easier to:

  • Track all of your expenses from multiple sites or accounts on one dashboard.

  • Instant data visualization of Spending Totals.

  • Find receipts, products, job names, dates, po numbers, credit cards used, etc.

  • Search, Sort or Export to Google Sheets, Excel.

  • Syncs to Quickbooks, Xero, Freshbooks.

  • Collaborate Tool for adding contractors, employees, or your accountant.

  • Improves tax compliance and prevents audits with digital paper trail.

  • Never worry about duplicate transactions, or waste time looking for errors or lost paper receipts.

  • Automates your accounting. No manual data entry.

There's a free trial and a free forever plan depending on your needs. Check it out at Greenback.com

Sure you can. Of course, there are many ways to skin a cat. But here is the one that works wonders.

1. If you are not a member of Home Depot Pro, then it's a great idea to become one. You can find details here: Home Depot Pro Sign UP

2. Click on the receipt and print.

Here is one benefit of being a Home Depot Pro member, if you give them your phone number and use it when you purchase the materials, THD will save the receipts for 24 months and email it to you too! No more snap, scan or email receipts to your bookkeeper.

Check out more perks of being a pro member - you can read on this blog: 11 Benefits of Home Depot Pro.

UPDATE:

JLuis, you don’t need your receipt number anymore. You can get your past and new Home Depot receipts all in one place so they are easy to find, reprint, or export to Quickbooks or Xero. Just have the Greenback app import your receipts for you automatically. (Some Home Depot setup may be required.) You’ll see every line item including receipt numbers, PO#, Job Name, products, amounts, etc. Find out how at: Greenback.com
