Is this outdoor spigot soldered on?

I had a leaky outdoor spigot on a 1977 house in Colorado. I bought a replacement freeze less spigot from Home Depot. The sales associate said my current spigot was very old and could either be screwed on or soldered on. Can you take a look at the pictures and let me know the next best steps to replacing it? Thank you.

Yes, it's soldered on.  Otherwise there would be a female adapter at the end of the house piping and the threads on the outside of the spigot would screw into that.  The burnt floor boards above it are another clue...

Can you solder?  If so, the easiest solution might be to unsolder the old one and just replace it with a new one.  Or you could cut the pipe slightly shorter and then use a female adapter.  Make sure you get all the water out of the pipe before attempting to solder.  Because that elbow is so close it might be a little tricky to solder without melting the joint there too.
