Leaking pipe?

I've used Home Depot for pretty much anything I need parts wise, but i'm in a predicament where I'm not sure where to even start.

When the water is turned off in the upstairs sink faucet, about 20 seconds later I'm hearing a dripping noise. 20 seconds later is a long time which makes me worried that if it's a leak, it's possibly in the walls? I'm not sure how to check this. I was actually looking to see if Home Depot offered plumbing services, but it doesn't look like it, so I want to try and at least find this and fix it on my own if it's possible.

Any help or push in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Natalie,

Check the drain under the sink, look for dripping water and moisture on the wall and floor. If this area is dry then it may well be a leak inside the wall.

The best bet is to get a plumber out there to find the source of the problem. The longer you wait the more expensive the repair can become.
