Marble Tile

We have marble tile in bath.  We need to either replace or seek options to make less slippery.  How can we roughen marble instead or tearing out?

Hey wkwiii.

There are products out there designed specifically for this. The best one that we sell at The Home Depot is Miracle Sealants 511 which is a sealer for natural stone that won't discolor your floors while making them less slippery. I have heard good things about this, and with this you have The Home Depot also standing behind this product.

You can find this product in your store, or on our site.

You could always get some slippers with felt buttoms. I got some boots for fishing in rivers, designed to stand on slippery wet smooth rocks and they had felt bottoms and they were truly slip resistant.

I found another item online that we do not carry. I have never used it so it could be "snake oil" for all I know.
