One piece on the finished floor is not holding. Solutions?

Just finished installing 400 sq ft of Allure Ultra Vinyl click lock flooring. Upon final inspection one piece at the second row from where I started appears to have not seated.  It is the only bad spot on the floor. How can I fix it without tearing up the floor?  It is an end piece, can come glue be squirted underneath? What do you recommend?

Hello marktest703,

Since the affected piece isn't in the middle, you will need to remove the adjacent planks to get to that plank that is causing issues.

If it is on the end row as you stated, you can place double-sided mounting tape to hold it down. However, DO NOT use any form of liquid glue, as it can burn through and disfigure the surface of the plank.

Specifically, use a high strength double-sided mounting tape, shown below and linked here.

The mounting tape is safe to use; in fact the manufacturer of Allure Ultra, Halstead Intl., recommends this for holding down the first row.

This is what appears to have happened here, so repair the area with a little mounting tape and re-snap the rows for a finalized solid installation.

Let us know if you have any further questions,

Joseph
