PaInting Concrete Floor

I am getting ready to paint my concrete basement floor.  My questions are :  Do I need to fill small cracks? Do I need to seal the floor before painting or can I just paint it?  Any other suggestions appreciated!!  Thanks!  :)

You definitely want to make sure that the floor is clean, dry, and free from any oils.

Simply paint the floor a like you would a wall - brushing around the edges and then rolling the middle.  Keep in mind that if this is the first time the floor has been painted, you will have to apply a bonding primer and two coats of paint to ensure proper coverage.

Use a paint that is specifically designed for floors like the 1-Part Epoxy.
