Painting Ceramic Bathroom Heater

I am in the process of remodeling a bathroom from the 1970s and it has one of those old time ceramic heaters that is maroon. I want to paint it white. What is the best and safest way to repaint it?

Hello dbarr913 , and welcome to the Community!

We carry a high heat paint made specifically for grills, radiators, fireplace screens and more. The high heat paint comes in either a spray or brush type. It retains its color and finish up to 1200 degrees and it holds up over time during repeated heating.

Most conventional spray paints are good up to a temperature of about 200 degrees. I hope this old heater is not getting so hot that a hand cannot be left on the shroud !  Even 200 degrees is too hot to leave one's hand one for any period of time. Remember, boiling water is "only" 212 degrees F.
