Hi Martha75402,

We offer several different styles of patio door locks at the Home Depot.

Since both doors operate the bar type locks will only secure one side. I would recommend the loop type patio door lock.

It attaches to both doors in the center where they meet, and when secured neither door can be opened.

You lift the loop up to disengage the operating door. It’s simple, easy to use and very secure.

A locking version is also available.

I hope this answers your question
