This plant does well growing on rock walls and in rock gardens. This plant has great drought tolerance once established. Stonecrop foliage turns orange and red in the fall in northern climates. Other low growing sedum comes in red or white flowers and brilliant yellow or bluish foliage. For a great, taller and drought resistant Sedum consider Autumn Joy Sedum.
