Plant returns policy?

Does Home Depot still have a one year return policy for plants? If so, do you need the original containers and tags, or just the receipt?

Hi leia,

Yes, The Home Depot has an unconditional 1 year plant guarantee on all of our landscape plants!

If you ever have a plant that needs returning, just bring back what's left of the plant with your receipt. The receipt verifies when the plant was purchased.

You don't need to keep the pot, but it might help to have the label to identify the plant.

Thank you for asking,

There is a caveat to this. It is not really "unconditional" as the store manager can refuse to honor it for any reason and corporate will support them. Buyer beware!!!!!

Is this policy still in effect and if so, are there any changes?
