Primer not adhering to spackle

I am fixing a couple of wall. I had to patch some portions of the wall, but the primer I used is not adhering to the speckling. I used DAP DryDex for the Patches and the primer is latex Behr Interior 75 Premium Plus All in one Primer and Sealer.
What am I doing wrong?
I hope you can help.

Thanks

Hi Fena,

In many cases with a fast dry spackle such as this product, a powdery residue is left behind after it dries. This residue will prevent the new paint from adhering to the surface.

When applying spackle, sanding is almost always recommended to blend the repaired area with the existing surface. A tack cloth should be used to remove any sanding dust or residue prior to painting. Tack cloths are available at your local Home Depot paint department or any hardware store.

Remove any paint that is not adhering to the surface, sand it smooth and use a tack cloth to remove any residue and then repaint the area.

Overlap the existing paint to blend in the new paint with the existing paint on the wall.
