R value of Spray foam vs fiberglass in exterior wall space of about 1 inch

I am looking for a comprehensive comparison of R value in a 1 Inch thickness of spray foam vs fiberglass vs blown insulation.

I have a 67-69 R 235 home with ZERO insulation in the exterior walls. I have ICE on the inside north east corner. I am planning on demolishing and insulating the exterior walls, but i want the best insulation without having to shrink the room. current walls have about a 1 inch space from the back of the drywall to the brick. I have seen home improvement shows where spray foam is applied and it has a high R value, but is it something a homeowner/do-it -yourselfer could take on?

Hello jcwinder and welcome to the community!

I have two links for you that might give you what you are looking for, the first link is a study from the Habitat for Humanity and the second is Guide to Home Insulation from the U.S. Department of Energy.
