Howdy Restoration,

I'm guessing you meant either: MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard), PG (Paint Grade), or RGB (Red Green Blue) LED lighting under/over crown moulding?

So we are going with the "RibbonFlex Pro Custom Color RGB LED tape lighting".

I'm guessing you would want to run the LED behind the existing crown moulding. In this case it's not too difficult because the kit has connectors that snap to join the strips together. To makes things easier there is an adhesive backing to hold the lights in place.

These are high performance RGB LEDs can produce an endless array of colors including shades of white making it exceptionally versatile for creative accent lighting. There is  a color controller to select a static color and brightness level of your choice, or create color changing scenes and effects.

If you get a chance, post some photos of your project to show others how "you did it".

Happy Lighting,
