Hello Mayagodez and thank you for joining The Community!  We are glad that you are here.

Sorry to hear about the burn marks.  I went to the Formica website and found out that you cannot repair the burn directly, however there are some ideas to fix the damage. They recommend:

1. For small burn marks, cut out the damage and apply a filler product (the above link to their website lists product contact information).

2. For larger areas, cut out the damage and insert a cutting board or trivet.

3. For countertops with straight or beveled edges, resurface over the existing laminate with a new piece of laminate.

The Kitchen Designers at your local Home Depot store can help match your laminate and order the new piece for you.

Additionally, check out the Laminate Use and Care Guide and Warranty for more possible solutions to your countertop situation.

Best wishes on your project and please keep us posted on your progress.
