Ryobi lawnmower won't start

I bought a Ryobi cordless mower last year and have been very pleased with it. Until now. It has not been used for 4 months and has a covering of cement dust from some work I have had done. The battery and charger were indoors and clean. The mower doesn't start. The LED light on the charger flashes alternately red and green. The manual says this indicates a fault with the battery or the charger. However the test button on the battery says it is fully charged. Any ideas? PS the starter key doesn't have a reset button.

Hello Zizou.  Welcome to the Community!

Your Ryobi mower should still be in warranty.  I would suggest that you take your mower to the nearest Home Depot and have it checked out.
