Stone cutting disk

Hi;

Have a cutting wheel with arbor 5/8", marked as 5/8"-7/8". I need 7/8" and guess that central ring can be pinched out, but scared to use a hammer on it. How this is done usually?

Thanks a lot,

Alex

Hey rfxpert.

I was talking to Ross in the hardware dept at my store and he did say that the 5/8-7/8 Bosch blades that we have do have a knockout in the middle that can be knocked out with a flat head screwdriver and a hammer. Some blades also have a knockout with little tac welds holding in the knockout. Remove these the same way, by putting the screwdriver on the weld and give it a "WACK".

Let me know how this works out for you. Thanks for your question and welcome to the community.
