Transition or Not - Engineered Hardwood

I'm planning the installation of flooring I just ordered - Strand Woven Bamboo Engineered hardwood. The room is 17' X 12' plus a 7' X 5' walk-in closet. Do I need to have a transition between the room and the closet? The closet has a door, but it is always left open, so the temp and humidity should be generally the same in both areas. thank you.

Hello Kevin24 and welcome to the Community.

The purpose for using transition at door ways is to allow for expansion and contractions.   When installing floating floors in a room the expansion gaps at the walls are usually covered by base and quarter round moldings.  Through a door way you do not have that option.

You must refer to the manufactures specifications in order to maintain the warranty.

Thank you for your inquiry.
