Trending in the Aisles: Affordable LED Light Bulbs by EcoSmart

The next wave of whole-home LED light bulbs is at your local Home Depot store!

With the demand and lower prices of this energy efficient technology, you can now purchase value packs of these awesome light bulbs for all fixtures inside and outside of your home!

Previously, a lot of these LED light bulb options were only sold individually, and the prices were somewhat steep for some folks' budget.

With our in-house brand EcoSmart, you'll now get multiple packs and lower prices than the national brands, and with the same quality!

In this post, I'll go over the most widely used and in-demand light bulbs needed around the home today...but in multiple packs to save you money in the store and your energy bill over time!

Refer to the chart below to get the right shape, brightness, and color temperatue of light bulb for your fixture.

60 Watt Equivalent Soft White A19 Energy Star+ Dimmable LED Light Bulb (4 Pack)

The most common light bulb used in your home today, the A19 shape in LED is now available in multiple packs such as this one shown/linked above!

Since this is the most used light bulb around your home, choosing the energy efficiency of LED is key. It's estimated energy cost is just $1.08 a year and it lasts up to 25,000 hours!

Compare that with the only 1,000 hours of the now-obsolete incandescent equivalent.

Not only do we have this dimmable long-lasting bulb in the same look, soft white, as the older incandescent versions, but also in bright white and daylight colors & other brightness choices in multiple packs too.

This means you can get exactly the right amount of light where you need it, and save money at the same time!

Also note that we also carry larger 8 packs available if you need even more of them to purchase. Click here to see it's soft white 60 watt option, shown below.

EcoSmart 40W Equivalent Soft White B11 Candelabra Base Light Bulb (3 Pack)

The version shown and linked above is mainly used for decorative fixtures, such as an outdoor lantern light or a dining room chandelier.

In this soft white version, it will give off the same amount as it's incandescent counterparts. The biggest difference is that they will last much longer than them. It's secret is that while it looks like a 40 watt light bulb, it actually only uses 5 watts of energy!

65 Watt Equivalent Soft White 5 & 6 Inch Dimmable LED Retrofit Recessed Light (3

This 3 pack is more than just light bulbs; it's also is the trim for your recessed lighting!

Use these as a moisture-resistant alternative to just buying the light bulbs. Since the trim and light is fused together as an integrated piece, you can place these in shower areas and other high moisture areas.

Simply remove the trim and replace with this great retrofit trim. No wiring is needed; the lead wires simply screw into the housing's socket.

Use these the next time you need a new or updated recessed lighting source. They will look and act just like if you bought just the bulbs themselves, except you'll get a sealed design so no dust, critters, or moisture can seep through into the housing.

50 Watt Equivalent GU-10 Base MR16 Shape LED Light Bulb (3-Pack)

These are those type of light bulbs most customers think of are out of the ordinary or not that commonly used. Luckily since they are, EcoSmart has made an affordable 3-Pack for these compact and frequently used light bulbs.

You'll find these GU-10 Base bulbs in lighting fixtures such as small recessed lighting and track lighting. And if you are updating them from their older halogen counterparts, you'll get a much longer life and way less heat being emitted from them!

EcoSmart 50W Equivalent Bright White MR16 GU10 LED Light Bulb (3-Pack)

And if you have a lot of light fixtures with this specific socket base, you can even mix these with halogens and the color temperature and lumens (if they are 50 watt or similar) if you only buy a few LED's at a time. They will all look uniform in appearance!

EcoSmart 65W Equivalent Soft White BR30 Dimmable LED Light Bulb (6-Pack)

Just like their older incandescent counterparts, these will give you the same look and brightness of them. However since it's LED, you'll get a much longer lasting BR30 shaped light bulb versus other types we currently sell.

Use a BR30 light bulb for recessed lighting and anywhere where the fixture demands it.

And just like their A19 versions in LED, we also carry Bright White and Daylight colors too!

90W Equivalent Bright White PAR38 Dimmable LED Flood Light Bulb (2-Pack)

The final LED light bulb option I'd like to mention is the one typically used outdoors or for large recessed lighting, the PAR38 shape.

Use these in fixtures like motion sensor security lighting. Since they last for a very long time, this means you don't have to get a ladder to change out the light bulb every year.

For this as well as all the light bulbs mentioned in this post, they are available at your local Home Depot store. For other options, check out our LED light bulbs page online.

Why are the A19 LED bulbs always 60 watt equvalent? What if I need 75 or 100 watt equivalent?

Hey JefferyT,

Thanks for your question and welcome to the community.

Actually, we've carried more than just 60 watt equivalent LED light bulbs at your local Home Depot store as well as here online. There's indeed been other versions since they were first introduced a few years ago.

This is especially true for 75 and 100 watt equivalent in soft white and in daylight colors.

In fact, check out the first brand we've sold in our stores, CREE, below in the 100 watt soft white version and linked here.

For the newer option in our in-house brand, EcoSmart, and in a better price point we have those well.

To view one sample of 75 watt equivalent 2 pack in daylight color is shown below and linked here.

While I'm not sure if your store didn't have them or you simply overlooked them, other versions (25, 40, 75, & 100 watts) are available online and at your local Home Depot store.

Let us know if you have any further questions,
