Trending in the Aisles: Husky 33 Gal. Portable Electric Air Compressor

In the spectrum of air compressors, most folks are in 2 categories...either ones that want portability (while sometimes sacrificing power) and power (which sometimes sacrifices portability).

When in the market for a new compressor, lots of factors need to be considered such as how and what you want to use on it. To read more about how to choose an air compressor, click here for detailed information.

Luckily, with the Husky 33 Gallon Portable Electric Air Compressor, you can easily get any job done effectively with most projects that require pneumatic power with portability and at a high psi.

For its size and price, it's a great choice for the serious DIY'er or even for small commercial applications that require long periods of power. The biggest value in it is that it's top pressure level, at 165 psi, is similar to a two-stage compressor, but fortunately at a fraction of the cost.

Also, it's a lot quieter than other types of compressors (78dB) in its class. And since it's pump is oil-free, you are getting an efficient and quiet running compressor to boot.

It's power source is only at 15 amps/120 volt, which means no special wiring or outlets are needed. However, special consideration needs to be checked to ensure that other devices on the circuit powering the outlet won't overload the circuit breaker giving power to it.

The 1.7 HP motor on this compressor can easily give enough air to almost all pneumatic tools ranging from framing nailers to cut off tools with no issue for long amounts of time.

The high flow regulator it has can run most spray guns, which can make it ideal for just about any spray painting job out there.

Additional Info

The same regulator also allows for long running times, which is important when you need your tool working consistently, like driving in nails while framing, as an example.

Considering that this unit also comes with 9 inch wheels, this makes it ideal for almost any spraying job indoors and outdoors when the weather calls for it.

And since it comes with 2 outputs (shown below), this can reduce the time spent of switching out tools.
