Trending in the Aisles: Tool-Less Compression Connectors

The best way to connect your F connectors (ends for your coaxial TV cable) has always been compression connectors (shown below).

This type of connector is the absolute best for achieving the greatest signal strength. After all, any cable will only be as good as the connector on it.

Twist and crimp styles of connector options can work, but they don't give you as good connection strength as a compression connector. And having a good F-connector is crucial for installing satellite or digital cable TV.

For DIYers or anyone who wants these effective connections, using compression connectors means buying the compression tool if you want to make these terminations.

This means you'd have to buy an expensive tool (shown below) for just a few connections that you'd most likely never need again.

Compression Crimper

You now can get that professional compression connector without having to use any connector tool for it!

With the Ideal RG6 and RG6 Quad Shield Tool-Less Compression F-Connectors, you get an easy to use connector without the hassle of any special tools!

This means you can not only save money, but time as well if you have several connections to make. The connectors simply slide and lock into place over the cut coaxial cable.

Since it doesn't twist on like the twist-on connectors, it doesn't deform the jacket, allowing no damage to its round shape.

So if you are looking for an effective but quicker and less expensive way to give F-connectors to your coaxial cable, use these new versions sold at your local Home Depot.

Be sure first to know if you need the older RG6 size, or the newer RG6 Quad Shield versions before purchasing. Getting the incorrect version will result in it not fitting.
