Paint

Using textured paint eliminates the need to texture before paint, correct? Do i need primer as well?

Using textured paint, like Behr, i do not need to texture the walls after drywalling, correct? Also, do I need to use primer before paint?

The Behr texture paint is not self-priming. You should seal the walls first with a drywall primer. If you do not first seal the walls, one of the consequences is that the dryness of the bare drywall paper will quickly suck the moisture out of the paint, making it very difficult to  lay down an even texture or distribute the sand, if you are using the sand texture.

The texture paint can be left as is, or if a specific color is desired, it can be merely painted over.

Hope this has helped.
