Hello Ted1 and welcome to the Community.

I do not recognize the term SOLumber.  I can tell you about the pressure treat lumber that Home Depot caries for exterior building project that would have exposed lumber.

Until recently Home Depot carries 2 types of pressure treated lumber, above ground and ground contact.  The 2by material use to be above ground and 4by and larger was ground contact.

With Home Depot’s commitment to offer the highest quality products they have decided to make all their pressure treated lumber ground contact.

Since this is a recent change, there still may be some of the above contact stock on the shelves so make sure you check the tags on the end of each board.

The following Question and answers should clarify these changes.

Thank you for your inquiry.
