What is the best kitchen flooring for a reasonable cost

I don't want to spend a ton of money on our kitchen floor, but want something durable.  What is the best type of flooring without spending alot of money

Flooring as a whole is generally priced per square footage so you can compare all types.

 

Vinyl flooring typically is the least expensive of all floors, but be mindful that it comes in various forms (sheet, plank, tile).

 

Of all the types of vinyl flooring, peel and stick aka self-adhesive vinyl tiles are the least expensive per square foot.

These are also one of the easiest floors to install. Just make sure your existing floor or subfloor is clean and free of debris before starting on any new flooring project.
