Hello jedeimlingyahoo!

Frog Tape is medium adhesion, can stay on the building for 21-days, and is ultraviolet light resistant ... making a great choice.

My deck is chocolate stain on the walking surface and white semi-gloss paint on the handrails, so I have to tape every time I refresh the coatings.

I prefer two-inch tape and cut the plastic to match the posts, stairways, siding and doorways.

The combination gives me a perfect straight edge from the tape and a bit more forgiveness from the plastic.

You know, it always seems that the prep takes a little more time, but the results are flawless ... absolutely no touch up.

Home Depot also now carries the 3M Blue Exterior Painter's Tape. It has the same attributes  of the interior Blue Tape, but the adhesive is somewhat more aggressive. Conventional Blue Tape does not work too well on exterior surfaces due to its gentle adhesion.
