Will Manufactured homes support a 32" TV

My manufactured home has 3 inch supports every 18 inches. I would like to hang a 32" TV in room, could it be done safely? If so, what kind of mount, screws/nails/bolts would I need to hang the TV?

Hi Saithbravo123,

Your best bet is to purchase a ready made TV wall mount. A number of different styles are available at your local Home Depot. All of the hardware is included.

These typically have at least four mounting points and there is space in the brackets for additional fasteners.

If you are unsure as to the strength of the wall structure, you can mount a piece of plywood to the wall, with multiple fasteners, paint it to match the wall and then attach the TV mount to the plywood.

This will allow you to mount the TV exactly where you want it, without worrying about where the wall studs are.
