about the correct underlayment

      Which underlayment is recommended for installing click lock solid hardwood?

Thanks for your question and welcome to the community.

If your click-lock solid hardwood floor requires an underlayment, then you can use one. I say this because depending on the specific hardwood floor you have will determine if you can use one.

Most click-lock floors do need an underlayment fortunately, but just make sure yours requires one for the installation to work as well as it to be warranty compliant.
