Hey elang,

Thanks for your question and welcome to the community!

You can place peel and stick vinyl tiles without thin-set....but are you sure your tiles are just ceramic tiles without the self adhesive backing? Other than our Smart Tiles that having a self-adhesive backing, no other ceramic tiles we carry have this kind of backing.

This is extremely important, as any existing adhesive on the tile should be fine on what I am assuming is a vertical surface (since it's on beadboard).

I'm going to need more information though regarding your tiles. Exactly what size it is, where it is going (floor, backsplash or wall), and the size area you are wanting to cover.

In short, you can use some pre-mixed thin set mortars and and mortars in bags (which are better, they dry faster and harder) that are rated for vertical applications.

Let me know what kind of tiles you specifically have and we can assist you further.
