cutting granite tiles

I am installing granite tiles on a countertop. Will a regular wet tile saw be all I need?

Good afternoon HandySam,

Welcome to the community, we are glad you are here.

Using a sturdy wet tile saw is a great start for cutting those granite tiles.

Depending on what kind of layout and design you'd like to implement will determine if you need more than a wet saw.

For example, if you are making any corner cuts, using a tile nipper is a great way to go.

However, if your layout is pretty straightforward (i.e. 90 degree squares), then a good wet saw will do the job nicely...and then some.

Did you have any further questions regarding your tile installation? Let us know, we are here for you.

Cheers,

aboveaveragejoe
