flooring

 have another question can i lay laminate flooring starting from a tile floor with no wall only at one end and working my toward a wall, instead of starting at the wall and with walls at each end.all at both ends

Hello tgy and welcome to the Community.


I do not know which brand of laminate flooring you have chosen but the installation is similar for most manufacturers.  Here is a link to where you can access a installation video for Pergo Laminate by clicking on the box with the arrow below the photo.  That box looks like this.



You can start at any of the sides as long as you follow the directions for maintaining your expansion gaps and allow room for the transitions.  Check your manufactures instructions provided with the flooring for any instructions that may be specific for your chosen product.
