glass block window installation

Do I install glass block windows into the existing wood frames or do I remove the frames and install into the concrete opening?

Hello maddress.  Welcome to the community.

 

The size of the opening could be the determining factor as to whether you can install directly into the concrete opening or use the wood frame.  If the size of the glass blocks nest into the concrete opening you can use glass block mortar and install directly.  If you wish to put into the wood  frame, or the opening needs to be built- in to accommodate the block sizes you may want view the link below  to plan out your project.
