home depot waterproof vinyl peel flooring

Can the vinyl plank flooring (peel and stick) be added in a Florida screened lanai that gets some water in the summer in corners when the storm shutters are down,but don't completely cover the outdoor screening

Thanks for your question and welcome to the community.

Unfortunately, any vinyl-based plank or tiles will not work outdoors. Even if it is covered and screened in from rain.

Vinyl as a substrate isn't rated for exterior usage due to its inability to withstand extreme temperature changes. 

Even if your part of Florida gets consistent weather; the vinyl and just as important, its adhesive will fail within a short amount of time. Plus, the second you place it down on the floor out there, it will void the warranty you'd have on it.

Your best options for a new floor would be a low-sheen porcelain based tile. For its cost, its lower per square foot than natural stone tiles and can last a very long time on your lanai.
