Welcome to our community Weeksd!

Let's first talk about how to paint your screened in room. Is everything that you are painting in there metal? The best paint to use would be a paint and primer in one. We sell two interior paint and primer paint that we sell in our stores is Glidden Duo and Behr Ultra.

You can use exterior grade paint in there, it would protect better against UV rays and is overall more durable. If this sounds like something you would like to do, you can use either Behr Ultra or Behr Marquee (the Glidden Duo is interior only paint). In either case, the primer mixed in will eliminate the need to do a separate primer.

When painting an area that has been damaged by the Sun, you need to first see what the extent of the damage is. If it is flaking, cracking and/ or peeling, you will want to sand it until it is smooth. If the paint is faded, just sand it lightly before painting. Behr Marquee has the best fade resistance of any paint that we carry, so if you would like a paint that is less likely to fade in the future, I would recommend this paint for you.
