how do I frame a room for drywall installation?

Hello Hsmalls,

 

Welcome to the community.

 

Most walls are framed with either a 16” OC (on center) or 24” OC.

 

This will allow you to hang a standard 4’ wide sheet of drywall side by side and the joints will land in the middle of the stud so that you can nail both sheets.
