Hi smadge,

All new dishwashers have installation instructions enclosed with the unit and you may go to the Frigidaire.com web site for detailed instructions for your specific model.

Here are the basic steps to remove the old dishwasher.

1)      Shut off the water supply to the dishwasher, and then start the

dishwasher to drain any remaining water in the tub.

2)      Unplug the unit or if it is hard wired, turn off the breaker for the

dishwasher circuit and disconnect the wires.

3)      Next disconnect the drain hose at the air gap or the garbage disposer.

4)      Remove the kick panel from the dishwasher and disconnect the water

supply line, you will need to use a small pan to capture any remaining

        water in the line.

5)      Now remove the screws from the retainer clips at the top of the

dishwasher. These hold the dishwasher in place. Some machines have

        these on the side panels.

6)      Next carefully pull the dishwasher out of the cabinet, being watchful

of the water supply, drain lines and cord. These are often feed through

an opening in the cabinet to the sink and electrical outlet.

7)      Once you have the old unit out, remove the cord to attach to the new

unit and move the old unit outside for disposal.

8)      Installation of the new unit is the reverse of this process.

If you have any additional questions please ask.
