Hi Jacob,

Thank you for your questions and welcome to our community.

Depending on the type of Moen Facet you have, most of this type of unit has a central fastener located on the underside of the counter where the facet is attached to.

Here is a link that has the basic installation instructions for a Moen faucet.  Some of the key pieces that should have been with your kit would be:

Support Bracket

Mounting Bracket

Mounting Nut

When mounting your faucet, be sure that there is sufficient room for the Mounting Nut to be able to attach to the Faucet Body.  If you do not have the Faucet Body Gasket in place, there may not be enough threads for the Mounting Nut to attach to.

Check out the picture on the Moen website, it will be bigger and easier to read.  If you do not have the Mounting Bracket Support, you may not have sufficient distance inplace for the Mounting Nut to attach to.

If your model is different than the one depicted, you can check out www.moen.com or you can call 1-800-289-6636 8AM to 8PM Eastern Time.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
