how is a small outside sign put together and placed in ground?

I need some help on how to put together a small 6'x3' wood sign with side post placed in the ground.

Thanks for your question and welcome to the community!


If the side posts can be detached or installed separately, you will need to install those into the ground first.


Since you didn't state exactly what type/size of posts they are, you can either drive them into the ground or first dig a hole for them using post hole diggers.


If the soil is very rocky and/or hard, consider using a auger rented from your nearest Home Depot.

If this is a more permanent install, you can use cement around the holes to ensure stability.

Beyond that, was there any specific questions you had regarding installing the sign? If you can describe the size of the posts, then we can dig a little deeper with getting a solution for you.
