Hi 326sepasek,

The ideal location for a dryer vent is through the wall directly behind the dryer.

Some newer mobile homes have an opening for the dryer vent already installed at the factory.

However most do not and installing one is fairly easy.

First determine if the wall you have chosen has any wiring or plumbing going through the area for the vent.

Drill a small hole in the wall and use an inspection mirror to look for obstructions in the wall.

If all is clear, use your small hole as a guide to cut a 4 inch diameter hole in the wall.

Once you have completed the hole in the interior wall drill a hole through the exterior wall using the interior hole as a guide.

Next place the dryer vent duct through the wall. The vent has a solid pipe and a hooded vent on the outside.

Secure the duct in place with the supplied collar.

Finally attach the exhaust hose to the dryer and the vent, use the supplied clamps to hold it in place and push the dryer into place.

I have included links for the parts below.
