how to match a color from a different brand with just the name of the color.

I'm doing this job and requires to paint some walls, the owner of the place needs and wants it in an "apricot ice" color from Benjamin Moore paints; i dont have a BM store close by, so i need to match this paint but i dont have the sample of the color just the name.   is there a way that Home Depot can come with a tool to help me?

Welcome to our community Aflores!

Thank you for your question! I have great news for you. :) In the paint system at Home Depot, associates are able to look up a plethora of competitive formulas and make them in the brand of your choosing. We have many Benjamin Moore colors in this directory and should have "Apricot Ice" in there. If you can get it, the color number is helpful as well. This is just to be double sure that the associate gets the exact color you are searching for. ;)

In the time that I have been working in paint, I have had very few problems with the formulas in the competitive formula directory. I'm hopeful that "Apricot Ice" will work out wonderfully for you. :)

If you have any more questions, please let us know!
