Welcome to our community Beggergirl!

My name is Christine and I work in the paint department at Home Depot. There are a couple of products that you can use to paint your bathroom countertops. Both are made by Rust-Oleum.

The first one I’m going to talk about is the Rust-Oleum Countertop coating.

With this product, you have 16 colors to choose from and one quart covers 25 square feet. This product will stick to laminate and vinyl with no additional primer. They recommend using a foam roller for the broad areas and a high quality brush for the small, hard to reach areas.

Rust-Oleum also has kit, Countertop Transformations, which will work as well.

This kit includes everything you need to make your countertop look like granite. In our stores, we carry the colors “Desert Sand” and “Charcoal”.  This kit covers 30 square feet which is about 12 linear feet. Click here for a brief how-to video.

Both of these products work very well, deciding which one to use will depend on the look you are going for.

If you have any more questions, don’t hesitate to ask!
