Hello kmosher55!

Another community member asked the same question and I produced a video to explain the products.

Since that time, Behr has consolidated the green jug and the red jug into All-In-One ... that both kills mold and mildew and opens the surface of your wood to accept new stain.

This is the product I often recommend for wood like yours.

Simply spray or brush onto the surface and use a hose to rinse within ten-minutes ... it does not require a pressure washer.

IS IT PAINT OR STAIN?

The next question you should ask before proceeding is, "Is the original finish paint or stain?"

Cllick the link to jump to an explanation.

WHICH IS BEST?

Finally, Behr Semi-Transparent and Solid Color stains have consistently been rated best.

Here is a short discussion.
