how to trim a screen door to the right size?

I ordered a screen door for my side door. I measured it and the width is spot on. The heigth however in 1 in too tall. The screen door is metal with foam core for the sides and probably the bottom piece too.

How do I trim it?

Thanks!

The best solution is to return the door and get one in the correct size.

If you can't or don't want to do that, does the door have an adjustable sweep for the bottom?  It's a U shaped piece that's used to adjust the door for the opening.  Looks something like this:

If one came with the door, you could (see first paragraph) trim the bottom of the door and use it to cover the cut.  Use a circular saw, a blade designed for cutting metal, and a straight edge.
