leaky roof

i have a relatively newer roof .. less than 10 years old but i seem to have a leak that is apparently coming in and possibly going underneathe the shingles and rolling down the roof or something  like  that.

Hi there and thank you for joining our How-to Community.

 

Roof less than 10yrs old it’s most likely going to leak somewhere along the counter flashing or around the chimney or valley flashing. If you didn’t see any shingles missing it is most likely you have a problem with one of the above.

 

Here’s what I would suggest;

Start from the top going down. First check hip and ridge for missing shingles.

Next check all the chimney and counter flashing.

Valleys you can hose down and see if leaks immediate leaks will show on the interior.
