Hi ekpola23,

Thank you for your question and welcome to our community.

When trying to decide which air compressor will work best for you, you want to consider the amount of power you will need for the tools that you are going to use.  For light use, you might want to use one of the simple pancake type electric air compressors by Porter Cable.  At 150 psi, this unit has adequate pressure for a paint gun and light use with tools.

With 25 feet of hose, this little unit will get m,any small jobs done nicely.

How long will you be using the air compressor?  For longer periods of use, you may want to upgrade to a unit that will deliver in excess of 150 psi  like the 15 gal  DeWALT electric for jobs that require a longer duration or, just have a unit with a larger tank at 135 psi max like the Power Mate 30 gallon electric air compressor.

I have used the smaller Porter Cable air compressor for small paint jobs and for light nail gun construction with great success.  It is a good value for a great product!  Try it out.  The Home Depot has a 30 day satisfaction guarantee on most of its products.  We want you to be happy with your purchase.
